3rd Annual Heroin Community Awareness – 3/22/18
March 16th, 2018
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and The Findlay Police Department would like to invite the community to our 3rd annual Heroin Community Awareness meeting on Thursday, March 22nd hosted by Cedar Creek Church in the Findlay Village Mall.
The doors open at 6:00pm for an overview of local resources and conversation starting at 6:30pm. The evening will focus on changing trends in the court systems, new programming and one local resident’s recovery story. “This is a great opportunity to hear how Hancock County is moving forward in a collaborative effort to make changes in the community in regards to drugs” says Sheriff Heldman. “It never ceases to amaze me, the willingness of the participants to come and share resources and information with the community. There are many people who want to improve the quality of life here and want to fight the drug epidemic.”
There will be a question and answer session after the panel speaks and an additional opportunity to speak to the local resource groups.
If you have any questions please contact, Beth Baker, Crime Prevention Specialist, with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office 419-424-7253.
